Toray TORELINA™ PPS Resins

PPS resins are thermoplastic super engineering plastics with excellent heat resistance, dimensional stability and chemical resistance.
Toray offers both cross-linked and linear types of PPS and has its own production lines for everything from base material polymerisation to compounding, providing customers with a wide range of product specifications.

1，Heat Resistance
Excellent long term heat resistance. (UL Temperature Index 200～240℃, UL File No.E41797)

2，Dimensional stability
Due to mould shrinkage, low coefficient of linear expansion and low water absorption, the product has excellent dimensional stability at high temperature and high humidity.

3，Chemical resistance
Chemical resistance is comparable to that of fluoropolymers.

4，Mechanical properties
It has high strength and stiffness and excellent fatigue and creep resistance even at high temperatures.

Flame retardant
Without the addition of flame retardants, it can meet UL94V-0 specifications (UL File No. E41797).

5，Electrical properties
Good electrical properties in high temperature, high humidity and high frequency environments.

6，Mouldability
Excellent flowability allows extrusion moulding at the level of standard engineering plastics.
